PETER PAN FLIES OVER LONDON

Have you ever read the Peter Pan story? Or maybe you've seen the film... Just in case, I tell you: Peter Pan is a beautiful story which takes place in London. The pupils from 6th grade watched a part of that film. Here they could see some famous buildings of the city.

You can see some photos:

GOING SHOPPING!

Last Thursday, the English Classroom of the Juan Armario School was turned into Oxford Street! If you don't know, this is one of the main streets in London. It's a very long street and there are lots of shops there.

The children could buy and sell beautiful souvenirs from London. They could also know the money from England: the pound and pence.

We hope you like the pictures:

Juan José is buying a magnet for his fridge

 A double-decker in Oxford Street

Ana is buying a bag for her mum

 Some nice bags

 Some beautiful key rings

 Magnets for the fridge

María and Juan José are selling souvenirs

 Coasters

 Plates

 Snow globes

Funny can openers (they have the shape of the typical telephone box)

Domingo and Jesús are selling souvenirs, too

 Do you like these pens?

What pencils do you like most? The red or the blue ones?

WALKING AROUND LONDON...

This time, the 5th grade children were going for a walk around London with the help of some maps. They could know the name of some streets in the city and also the location of the most important places of London. The pupils enjoyed looking for where the famous buildings are. MORE LONDON!

The pupils from 5th and 6th grade have also been researching to know a bit more about London, the capital of England.
They fill in an interesting worksheet using the Internet in their laptops.
The teacher Jose helped them. THANKS for your collaboration Jose!!!

Here you can see some photos of this activity:

And the teacher Marrissa helped these children too! She showed them nice pictures on the smartboard. For example the London Eye, the Big Ben, the Westminster Abbey, the Saint Paul's Cathedral, Oxford Street... even a video of Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace! It was breathtaking!!!
