Homework: A FAMOUS SCOTTISH PERSON

Here you can read information about a famous Scottish man. Look and read (paying special attention to the verbs):

ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE (1859-1930)

He lived in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. Arthur Conan Doyle studied medicine and he worked as a doctor for some years. He helped people.

But he liked writing, so Arthur Conan Doyle wrote many books and poems. He became very famous with the stories about the detective Sherlock Holmes.

He loved sports. He played football when he was young. It was his favourite sport.

Arthur Conan Doyle was handsome and intelligent. He was brave. He had grey hair and a white moustache. He had blue eyes.
